These 30ml jars can be used as water containers or to store gems or glitter, or to mix paint – especially Mehron Metallic Powder.

I use two or three little jars like these as my water containers on any face painting gig. I used to use a cup or Brush Basin but then I’d be wandering around at the end of the job looking for somewhere to pour out my dirty water. Then I’d have the issue of cleaning or taking home a wet and dirty basin. Now I just put the lid on my jars, pop them back in my kit and go. It means I can pack up very quickly which is so important when you are paid to paint for the public for a set time. Every minute at the end that you take to pack up you are turning away sad little unpainted faces. Using two or three of these little jars for water, I will always have clean water but they take up so little space on my table (which means more room for more paint colours!) and very little space in my kit.
