$3.50

A soft lilacy pink

In stock

Features
  • OPAQUE – a single, solid, shiny colour (not iridescent nor sheer) which is particularly ideal for glitter tattoos as it gives solid, vibrant coverage. Also great for DIY glitter gels and face painting when some bold sparkles are wanted – for example, over black face paint.
  • ultra-fine hexagonal particles 0.2mm / 0.008 inches
  • about 7.5 ml in a pop-top jar

Jars are ideal for glitter tattoo application allowing easier access to the glitter with a brush or swab.

Lustrous, sparkly glitter – an essential for glitter tattoos, the finishing touch to face painting, and a delightful addition to henna art!

Amerikan Body Art Cotton Candy cosmetic glitter is a loose, fine glitter which means it is without gel or crème base. Simply apply it over your face painting design before the paint dries and the paint will hold it.

Cosmetic glitters can also be:

  • applied to the skin with Prosaide cosmetic adhesive as with glitter tattoos
  • mixed with a Gel Base to make your own glitter gel
  • sprinkled onto a henna design before the henna sets for a delightful extra dimension while the henna paste remains on the skin.

Please note: Due to the limitation of photography and differences in monitors and screens, colours of products may appear different to images displayed on your screen.

About Amerikan Body Art (ABA)

Amerikan Body Art is a small family-owned and run business, based in Florida, USA, started by Erika Harrison.

Erika Harrison started out as a professional henna body art and airbrush tattoo artist in 2002 while home-schooling her kids and studying for her Master’s Degree in International Business.

In 2003, Erica started teaching classes and wrote a business manual, “How to Start a Henna Body Art Business” and the book, “How to Start a Face Painting and Body Art Business”, plus numerous articles for industry magazines.

And since safe, professional quality henna products were difficult to locate, Erica Harrison started selling products so her students could get the supplies that they needed.

...And that’s how Amerikan Body Art was born.

The Amerikan Body Art online shop was launched in 2004.

During her travels to teach at conventions and tradeshows all over the world, Erica discovered that the face and body art industry includes a myriad of art forms. She began to experiment and to create her own face and body art products, expanding the business.

Though Amerikan Body Art has grown from the simple online shop launched in 2004, they still consider themselves a boutique manufacturer and distributor. They still do everything by hand, in small batches.  This allows them to be certain that they are only distributing the highest quality products.

Erika says life is too short to dread going in to work every day and her passion is helping people to figure out how to earn a living, while doing what they enjoy.

Since the beginning, Amerikan Body Art has always done their best to be kind to the planet.

They operate very efficiently with almost no wasted product.  Even testers and proto-type products are given away to be used, rather than disposed of.  They re-use all of the shipping and packing materials that that receive from their suppliers, and when they do need to purchase shipping supplies, they opt for recycled, recyclable, or compostable materials. They do their best to source our products from US-based companies, to reduce fossil fuel consumption.

Amerikan Body Art chooses their products very carefully, with great concern for ingredient quality and safety.  While they never test their products on animals, they do thoroughly test them on themselves and their friends before releasing them to the public.  As a vegetarian/vegan family, most of their products are vegan, but in the rare instance that a vegan alternative is unavailable, they are sure to mention that in the product information.
