I have designed this kit especially for events like fetes for to be used by two face painters. It includes the essentials particularly suited for beginner face painters. You may consider getting some stencils too, which make great face painting easier and quicker. Speed is very important at large events like fetes, so stencils can be a godsend!

This kit contains one cake of each essential colour. These can be shared between two face painters, sitting on either side of a same, or they can be split into separate containers to make two separate kits. Get in touch if you need empty containers for this, or advice on how to do it (it’s very simple).

This may seem like a small range of colours but it’s really all you need most of the time, and don’t forget you can mix colours – eg. the pearl pink and pearl blue blend to make a lovely pearl lilac; red and white for a regular pink. I have only included the essential colours to keep your costs down, but of course you can always buy a few extra colours.

Our Face Painting Kit for Fetes also includes 1 rainbow split-cake and a one inch flat brush, which two painters at one table can share.  These 1 inch split-cakes only take a little practice to master and give you a big wow factor for small effort. Even very simple designs done with these rainbow cakes will delight the children. Of course, if you are artistic or have the time to learn (YouTube has many tutorials!) you can do amazing things! (I have not included a large rainbow as they require more skill/practice to use and you can do plenty without it.)

There are also a number of sponges. The 1/2 circle are good for covering the face with colour such as for tiger face painting. The Almond sponges are good for more distinct areas of colour – butterfly wings, cat’s ears, Spiderman eyes, etc. The Spouncers (small, round sponges) are great for using with stencils, and for creating perfect circles of colour which you can then transform into rainbow spiders, gems, planets, balls, wheels and more.
