This washable practice head is the ideal learning tool to perfect face painting basics, practice specific techniques, test new makeup products and create your own unique designs. Your face painting quality and speed can be markedly improved by practicing this way, ie. by face painting at the correct angle and getting used to the contours of the face.

This is a two part Practice Head. A molded rigid plastic base supports the flexible, soft, molded ‘skin’.

Water-based face paint can be washed off with soap and water, and stubborn marks can be removed with eucalyptus oil and a magic eraser sponge.

Please note: the surface is designed to be somewhat absorbent so that it’s more like painting on skin and less like plastic. This means that they can stain. Some colours stain more than others too – especially purple and teal. I recommend washing the paint off as soon as possible.

I have heard of people treating practice heads with hairspray before use to apply a coating to make the paint easier to clean off. I don’t know how well this works, nor how it effects the painting surface.
