The tapered, pointy end of the handle is handy for delicately removing strands of stray hair from the face without smudging your art work by touching the model with your fingers.

Face Paint Pittsburgh relies on Mark Reid Round brush for crisp line work. We love the Mark Reid signature brush. This brush allows you to execute perfect thin to thick lines, swirls, teardrops and dots. If you want a tool to allow your best skills to shine, this brush is one of my favorite!

Must have for face painters
I do face painting for events all the time and I now feel like I cannot do it without this brush! The bristles are so smooth and stay together so well. The #4 round brush is the perfect size for almost anything basic; swirls, flowers, squiggly lines, etc. I highly recommend thus for anyone who is wanting to do face painting as a regular job!

My go-to brush for face painting!
This makes the best teardrops and swirls. Nice spring to the bristles and the black hides my mess from clients!

Better than Expected
I rarely ever post 5 star reviews. And just to let other reviewers know, I wasn’t bought to put this up, either. I was skeptical about these brushes, as they carry Mark Reid’s name. If any of you are aware, just because a name is stamped on a product, doesn’t make it exceptional. In this case, however, and as unfamiliar I am with Mark Reid (somewhat familiar with his work), these brushes outperformed Loew-Cornell. And Mehron, to me, is just “meh” in some of their products, so this little brush sure did surprise me. Very happy with it.

Best brushes for face painting! I like using the tapered end of the handle to refill my colours.
Like with any synthetic brush, when the bristles start to separate, dip them in boiling water for just a couple of second and allow to cool.

Good quality
These are my go to brushes that is use often. They hold up in the water and very rarely lose bristles. I love this line of brushes.
