This life-like blood gel by Mehron was developed for a realistic theatrical appearance both for on stage and film. Stage Blood is a thick, viscous, nearly opaque, syrup based blood for fresh blood effects. Mehron Stage Blood does not fully dry, staying glossy for the fresh blood look, but is a thick, viscous liquid that stays in place for long performances. It is non-toxic and so safe it’s even edible so it can be used in and around the mouth for great effect.
- Apply to the skin or on top of prosthetics.
- Fill blood capsules and puncture them to simulate bleeding.
- Safe for use in and around mouth.
- Product may stain. Pre-testing is recommended.
- Remove with soap and water.
Contains corn syrup, water, colouring and Sodium Benzoate.
- Colour: Dark Venous Blood Red

Love!! Worth it!! Love this! Works so well with my sfx looks! 🙂 and the taste is very light and easy to handle! So worth it!

Absolutely stunning. I was more than happy with the colour. I was worried it would stain because it was so dark and thick but it didn’t at all. The way it dries keeps it looking shiny as well. No flaking like cheaper types of blood.

Best fake blood yet,
Honestly, Mehron is the only place I’ll be buying my fake blood. Majority of the time fake blood looks to red, not depth to it, but with Mehron it’s thick, globby, and looks a lot more similar to blood. A positive note as well is that it stays looking this way. (Also, if you happen to get it in your mouth it doesn’t taste like you’re poisoning yourself,)

Realistic and easy to use!
As a nurse, I know what blood looks like, and this blood looks so real! It’s super easy to remove with just water, doesn’t stain, and was even “edible” (I used the blood on my teeth and around my mouth). It didn’t have a bad taste surprisingly! Once you learn how to apply it the application isn’t bad! I was very impressed on the quality for the price

Its great but not for splatter look.
I wanted to try a blood splatter look but this was very sticky, and thick. i got it in my mouth and it tasted like sugar? Its not toxic tho so thats good.:)
good for a bloody realistic look but not splatter.

Sticky but perfect. I love how dark and real it looks, it even coagulates like real blood. 🖤

Just like real blood.
This stuff was great for our haunted house. It also goes a long way. I used it on 6 different people and I only used about a third of the bottle. I’m talking bloody hand prints on costumes as well as bloody tears and sores. It never dried up during the whole event (4 hours) and it washed off very easy, even off the costumes. Well worth the money.

Best fake blood. Got so many compliments on my fake cut from my friends! The blood dried well and didn’t run but still looked really good!

Great. This is the best blood I’ve ever used. The colour is great. Only downside is that it it very sticky and doesn’t dry so it will stay sticky.

Realistic, long lasting, yet easy to remove
I love doing fx makeup, and this stage blood is perfection …the absolute best on the market. It has Incredible realistic texture/color and is long lasting yet easy to remove. I highly recommend!

It can stain, but it’s so good for SFX makeup!
Pros:
– Stays where it needs to stay (unless you have a big glob in one place, in which case it will drip like any viscous liquid does)
– Doesn’t smell or taste bad (tastes vaguely sweet but not bad– I just wouldn’t swallow the stuff if you can avoid it)
– Looks fantastic and pretty realistic in application
Cons:
– Don’t get it on things you can’t wash or scrub (like wallpaper, it’ll stain)

Need old looking blood? This has got you covered.
I bought this because I wanted an older blood effect for my costume. It stayed on the fabric as soon as it dried, and when I used it on my skin, it was exceedingly easy to remove. A+ for cosplayers 🙂

Awesome and easy to use!
It literally does wash off with soap and water! No worries about stains. I have a vampire maternity photoshoot coming up and I can’t wait to use it.
Best choice in my opinion was “Dark Venous”. You can dilute it if need be with a little water. I’d recommend diluting it anyway; super sticky stuff. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dark Venous for Realism
This was my first time ever using fake blood, or Mehron products at all and I was not disappointed! The blood didn’t stain and was very easy to remove. It also had a gel like consistency that seemed realistic. I paired Mehron Coagulated Blood with this Dark Venous Stage Blood for more definition. I think the Mehron Dark Venous coloration was a lot more realistic than the other shades too. Would definitely recommend!

So realistic!!!
This stuff is great! I used this for a drip of blood coming out of my eye and nose, and a handprint on my neck. The drips on my face did drip a little further but that’s kinda what I wanted. The handprint on my neck stayed in place for hours. This stuff is syrup based so it’s thick (but will run if there’s enough + gravity).
The bottle comes with a brush applicator (like nail polish) so it’s easy to get it placed where you want.
I bought both colors but only used the darker colour this time. I got a ton of compliments & a lot of people wanted to know where I got it. It’s also very easy to clean off. I just used a wet wash rag and it came off just fine (even after wearing for about 7 hours). (it did stain the wash rag)

Best Fake Blood
This was one of three bottles of fake blood I used for my Carrie inspired Halloween costume, and it was *by far* the best one. Easy to clean off, didn’t stain my skin, wasn’t runny, and it was that extra little oomph to make my costume as believable as possible.
